This is a short clip I shot of part of a lecture by Andy Brandt, the owner and head instructor of ABK, on the planing jibe, which is the main thing I am working on in my own windsurfing. This was in Dewey Beach, Delaware, in October 2009.

I asked Matt Case, one of the excellent ABK instructors,
to demonstrate a nice planing jibe. That he did, in the video at right. This is the move I am currently trying to perfect. I occasionally manage to plane all the way through the turn.

I shot this clip during lunch break at an ABK clinic in Dewey Beach, Delaware, in October 2009. This is Andy doing a forward loop (somersault) using my 6.2 square meter sail on his 108 liter board which was identical to my board except that he was using a much shorter fin, to make freestyle tricks work better.

Same as the video clip above, except this is not a loop, but a freestyle move called a....(somebody who knows please help me out). Ahhh.. Christopher Augustus, another outstanding ABK instructor (and a film actor), has just told me this move is called a "grubby".

This is Tonki Frans, one of the world-class local Bonairian windsurfers,

doing what he does best.
And this is Andy Brandt of ABK Boardsports,
coming in to the beach at Bonaire's Jibe City.
