Prerequisites and What to Bring
You should be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water. You should be reasonably fit. You should be able to pull yourself out of a swimming pool without using a ladder. You must wear some kind of water shoes, Teva sandals, Keens, old sneakers, or windsurfing booties (NOT flip-flops; you'd lose them). If you have a PFD (lifejacket), bring that; otherwise I can provide one (state law). If the weather is chilly, you'll have to provide your own wetsuit. If you need to wear eyeglasses, you need to have a way to keep them on your head if you fall in the water and/or a way to keep them afloat if they do come off. And please don't forget your checkbook.
Age limitations: No worries! I have taught kids as young as 5 and adults as old as 70.
That's it! :)
