Click on the first photo below for 110 seconds of video I shot of an up-and-coming windsurfer on Lac Bay. He's probably a local because of his skill level (although nothing like the pros - yet) and the fact that he's not on rental gear. The footage is interesting also because it shows the massive surf just outside the reef and the overweight cruise-ship people in the foreground. I was using an 8.0 square meter sail (large, about the same as I usually use here at home), on a 165 liter board (bigger than the 148L I usually use here at home), so I was able to plane and practice jibing in conditions that most Bonaire windsurfers consider too light wind for planing.
