I sailed for about an hour this afternoon. It was sunny and much warmer today. I got wet intentionally a couple of times to stay cool in my full wetsuit. The GoPro Camera had a technical difficulty so you'll just have to believe that I got one good planing run plus a lot of brisk schlogging around.
...but my friend Susan (a BetterWorldWindsurfing alumna) was on the lake earlier in the day for her first session of the year. Her husband took this pic.
It was sunny and breezy, and the water level is approaching summer level. Still, I didn't get onto the water until 4pm, by which time the wind had shifted toward the north and become fickle. Plus the water was still darn cold. But it was nice to be sailing again.
This is Bill vdB, sharing little vignettes of windsurfing on Sayers Lake, in Howard PA. and sometimes elsewhere.
