This is footage by an ABK "camper" that was posted on YouTube Nov. 20. It was shot around Nov 14 at Port Kelley, WA by someone who attended the August ABK clinic in the Columbia River gorge ("The Gorge") at Hood River, Oregon.

It's getting pretty chilly here in central PA. Before we know it the lake will have a 10-inch layer of ice. So here's a link to the Caribbean island of Bonaire, winter home of ABK Boardsports, the school that taught me all I know about windsurfing.
As of now Nov. 3 2011, it looks like maybe the weather has gotten cold and nasty enough to end the Central PA windsurfing season. But you never know! However, in the 2nd week of October we had some GREAT warm and windy weather out on Cape Hatteras... BABA (the Baltimore Area Boardsailing Association) is a friendly club of windsurfing enthusiasts with a wide spectrum of abilities, from rank beginners to accomplished veterans. They hail mostly from Maryland, Virginia and DC, but the May and October Cape Hatteras trips draw people from North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, Massachusetts, and even far upstate New York.                             |
