It was cooler than the day before, so I wore my full wetsuit, which was perfect. The weather was SPARKLING and there was plenty of wind for planing with an 8.1. Never mind that I had to deal with the old railroad bed that my 50-cm fin hit a few times; I rigged a buoy to mark a spot where I could safely sail over it. The wind was blowing from the OPPOSITE direction from usual, which was very interesting. One time I fortuitously fell exactly right to be able to waterstart with the 8.1, which is normally next to impossible. And I did nail one planing jibe dry.
