I took the opportunity to compare my old standby Bic Techno board to the new (to me) Tabou Rocket Wide I've just bought. I actually got some better rides on the Techno, but that may have been due to better gusts. I still need to get used to the Tabou, plus I need to try different footstrap positions.
I was using a new, voice-activated remote control of the GoPro, which didn't work perfectly. These two short videos show about half of the total planing that occurred during the 2-hour session. I was never planing long enough to want to think about attempting to plane through a jibe (except once that the camera didn't catch).
