Overnight from October 20--21, we got a major rainstorm that caused Bald Eagle Creek and others to flood, displacing maybe 200 people living in low-lying areas of Milesburg and Howard Township and causing Sayers Lake to rise by many feet. On the morning of Oct 21, the lake was full of floating leaves, sticks, logs, and whole dead trees. But by October 25 all the debris had been blown onto shore and the water level was going back down. The Sun came out and the temperature edged up in the direction of 60F, plus there was a nice, planable breeze. Scroll down to see the 2-minute highlight video.
